This class provides a warm, safe, and supportive environment for toddlers and parents. We sing songs, hear stories, do age-appropriate art projects, get a chance to chat about parenthood, and bring in an early Shabbat together. This is also taught by Rabbi/Cantor Diane and Lisa Weinbaum. Cool Shul is a non-denominational organization, but most closely related to the new Jewish Universalist movement. All of our teaching focuses on the “nougat center” of Jewish practice, finding the lessons that can help all people lead healthier, more peaceful lives rather than focusing on rules and laws. Our programs are perfect for interfaith families or those who have never been part of a Jewish community before Rabbi/Cantor Diane Rose 310-745-4578 www.coolshul.org diane@coolshul.org 13323 W. We do lots of interactive play, holiday activities, create great Jewish family traditions, discuss parenting tips and topics, and of course partake in our music & movement circle time. We know how busy our moms are in the morning, barely having time to grab a bite to eat, so we set up light refreshments every week! Here are some of our Mommy & Me goals for the year: 1. Set time for you and your child to play and bond. 2. Meet other moms for socialization and support. 3. Learn parenting tips from the instructor and have great parenting discussions. It’s wonderful time to swap ideas with other moms! 4. Learn how to incorporate Jewish traditions and rituals into our every day life for our families, through songs, discussions and play. 5. For our Wednesday goers, transitioning into Preschool, the children become comfortable here at PJECC. Once your child is enrolled in our Mommy & Me, he/she is guaranteed a spot at PJECC!! We look forward to meeting you and your children!
