Ages 13+ (Online) – Thursdays, 5:30 - 6:30 pm PT January 12 – March 30, 2023 The Torah is comprised of the five books of the Hebrew Bible – Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. These books make up the story of the Jewish people. Each week, we will explore one weekly Torah portion. These ancient stories touch upon science, history, philosophy, ritual, and ethics – each containing valuable Jewish life lessons that will be explored by The Miracle Project children, teens, and adults. By connecting the themes explored in the Torah to pop culture and modern day life, the Torah Together curriculum is fully accessible to participants with and without disabilities and with and without a traditional Jewish background. This program is about building a safe space in which participants can make friends, explore different world-views, and build community. Torah Together gives participants the opportunity to be part of something bigger than themselves—to connect with traditions and people who have come before them and to collaborate in creating a future where everyone belongs.
